Palamida joins state university healthcare initiative
The Open Health Information Project is a global collaboration between public and private institutions to develop open source software solutions for the health information community and is led by Oregon State University’s Open Source Lab.
The project has now been joined by Palamida, a specialist company in software intellectual property management solutions.
There is a perceived and pressing need for efficient information technology systems capable of providing unilateral support for geographically dispersed health providers, such as hospitals, doctors and pharmacies, and early pilot projects will aggregate major open source sets [software] and demonstrate the value of the open source approach in resolving existing problems in the health information technology field.
For fuller details of the project and its members, visit the Palamida website at: www.palamida.com
