Ghana: Ministry of Health programme
Nation looks to progress made in improved healthcare
It will be interesting to see how the 2007 programme of progress towards a more healthy population by the provisions of improved healthcare has been made in Ghana once all the statistics have been collated and assessed.
At the beginning of 2007 the stated priority programmes to be implemented were listed as:
A large number of the population, around 60 per cent of those living in rural areas, use traditional and alternative medical care, but these aspects are not fully integrated in the healthcare system, says the programme document. Read it on the Ghana Ministry of Health website at: www.moh-ghana.org.
