Bermuda: Mature and responsible adults wanted
Child and Family Services call for more foster carers
With over one hundred children in foster care and not enough homes to provide for them, Bermuda’s Department of Child and Family Services is calling for more mature, responsible and committed adults to provide a supportive home for foster children until their own families are able to provide for them again.
The Department says they are always in need of more homes, on a long and short–term basis, as well as on–call foster carers.
Child and Family Services provides foster families with the guidance of a social worker and on–going training along with financial, psychological and medical support for the children.
