Palestine: Commission pledges support for improvements

Three–year development programme for mental health

The European Commission has approved the Mental Health Development Project for Palestine, a three–year initiative with a value of 3,400,000 Euros.

The project has five components, namely:

This project will allow improvements to the mental health system in Palestine to follow–on from the Strategic Operational Plan which was developed and agreed by the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization in 2004.
