



United Kingdom: £126 million from Big Lottery Fund
Grant looks to promote mental and physical health
The Big Lottery Fund recently announced a £126 million investment package to help boost health in the United Kingdom [UK]. The grant will be spent at national, regional and local levels to promote exercise and healthy eating in order to bring good mental and physical health.
At a national level, £73 million will be shared between five organisations, Age Concern, the National Association for Mental Health [MIND], Sustrans, the School Food Trust and The Foyer Federation. Throughout the regions, £52 million will be shared by nine organisations to provide services.
